Hotel Marte - Venice

The location is perfect, just a quick walk from the train station. And an easy reach to the vaporetto stop. The cleanliness was excellent. And the super nice team and kind.

The food provided for breakfast was appetising.

I found the staff to be very friendly and accommodating, especially Elmi, who provided great local recommendations. The hotel was really clean, and my room offered a lovely view of the canal. Breakfast options were available upon request.

Stairs to reception can be challenging.

Location and room was quiet, air conditioning worked well.

It has a good location (less than 10 minutes walking from the train station), our room was gig enough.

There was a different person at the reception very often and not all of them were helpful at all. The pressure of the shower was extremely weak and the blanket had a lot of hairs

Consider dining at the nearby trattoria bar pontini for authentic local cuisine. The location offers easy access to both the railway station and vaporetto.

What a really really nice stay, no complaint. Fabulous hotel with free wi-fi, the location is absolutely perfect to everything I wanted to see. Delicious food options. Location close enough to the Marco polo airport, good restaurants around and Murano, Burano. Nearby Bar Gelateria da Nini - great place to chill out.

The rooms was well maintained and clean. I stayed with my parents and it was very important the whole stay was clean and comfortable.

1. I booked a 4 bedroom in Hotel Marte and after climbing up 2 flights of stairs with all our luggage, we were told that the room was actually in Hotel Basin which was just across the canal. Had to basically cross a bridge to reach the other side to the other hotel, they seem to be sister properties. It would have helped a lot to have known this clearly at the time of booking so that we didn't have to carry all our heavy luggage all the way to reception, just to find out we had to carry it down up then across a bridge and up the stairs of another building. 2. Also, I think they should provide coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms. We were a family of 4 adults who stayed in a 4 bedroom, so some early morning coffee would have been nice in the room.

I stayed in the Economy Double Room for 3 nights. The bed was super comfy, awesome after a long day exploring. The room was clean, and they refilled the toiletries daily, nice. The location was perfect for getting around Venice, and I loved having the canal view. The stairs were a hassle, though, especially with luggage, and the toilet had some issues that were a bit annoying.

Polite and friendly staff, nice brekfast.

No lift, it makes difficulties to up stairs with luggage. It wasn't work 2 plugs in a room from 3 plugs.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist us with our queries. The room was spacious and super clean. Great location for exploring local spots!

Not clean and not friendly staff and they don't speak English. Only one old lady at the reception and she didn't understand what we are talking.

The location was good.

I didn't like the service, to get a glass I went to the other side of the road. Reception was one for 2 hotels.
